Win Tickets to See the Fab Faux in D.C!

May 18, 2010

The Fab Faux, a Beatles tribute band that has been raved about in Time Out NY, Rolling Stone and NPR (among many others) are returning to D.C this weekend for a huge show. This Saturday, May 22, they’ll be joined by Creme Tangerine Strings and Hogshead Horns for a “glorious hodgepodge” of Beatles music at the Lisner Auditorium at 8pm. The band is comprised of 4 highly respected NY musicians (including Will Lee of The Late Show With David Letterman and Jimmy Vivino of The Tonight Show With Conan O’Brian) and has been applauded for their painstaking attention to detail and attempts to reach beyond the realm of just your average cover band. David Fricke, senior editor of Rolling Stone call them “the greatest Beatles cover band without the wigs.”  Tickets can be upwards of $100, but I just so happen to have a pair of FREE tickets for a lucky reader, courtesy of HK Entertainment.

Email me (see link to the left) with your favorite Beatles song and why. The winner will be notified by Friday. Good luck!
